Half Day Micolo Tour

Your half day tour to Micolo begins with pickup from the city or directly from the port, timed to work as a shore excursion for cruise passengers with limited hours on land. Two departures are available to suit different schedules.

Micolo is a compact working fishing village centred on the waterfront. A short walk leads to a land-based viewpoint looking out to the offshore shipwreck, before continuing into the heart of the community. Lunch is taken in a simple local restaurant, with the seafood cooked outside on the street in the traditional way and guests choosing directly from the day's catch.

After Micolo, the tour makes a brief stop at the Memorial dos Heróis da Liberdade before continuing to Praia dos Governadores, a wide quiet beach framed by jungle. Time to swim, snorkel near the calm reef, or simply rest on the sand.
